Somehow events reminded me of Ruchi mam. She taught us Mathematics in tenth standard. The most humble and polite teacher I have ever seen in my life. She was in a way too sweet to be a teacher. Despite of all the eve teasing and foul comments I hardly ever saw her in anger. She was just as calm as a silent sea.
My favorite and most respected and loved not only by me but a major mass. I still remember our last conversation when I hadn't obtained good marks and went to her for corrections, she said, " bache you can do better, but tum dhyan ni de rahe. I want good marks next time" and that next time she was not there. :( The whole school was mournful on the news of her suicide. I had tears as well. I can never forget her. May her soul rest in peace, I sincerely hope that.....
